Springtime - The Sap Begins to Flow

Greetings Life House Family,

Here we are in the middle of March and looking forward to Spring. Hopefully March will be calm and not bring any more snow. We look forward to the freshness of Spring. We welcome the unfolding of new life. Everyday we open our hearts to receive new beginnings from The Lord. So grateful that His mercies are new every morning. We remind each other of His Goodness as we go into another week. Thankfully we can lift each other up in prayer, asking for fresh encouragement for each other as we navigate the challenges of what are in the earth.

As we draw on His Life, the life flow from the finished work of Calvary is available continually. I love the picture of springtime, when the sap begins to flow in the branches of the trees it releases the dead leaves that were holding on during the winter season. This is the picture of how the Holy spirit works in our lives as we enjoy our precious relationship and spend our time being taken up with Him. I love that Father has provided everything we need for life and godliness. It has all been provided in our relationship in Him. Teach us Lord to realize our full provision in You. Let’s keep that picture of releasing dead “leaves” off our “trees” . Those things in our life that we get tired of battling. Let us relinquish them into His hands and allow His life flow to do it’s perfect work in us.

As we turn our eyes on Jesus the things in this life take it’s rightful place. We cast our care on Him because He cares for us and all we are going through. Our families are battling many things which want to steal our joy. Losses in this life are inevitable. As we store up our treasures in Heaven we know those can’t be stolen. In fact our loved ones who have graduated to heaven are free from all that hinder us here on earth. Also when we give our life to Christ we are assured that we will be united with them again. I personally so look forward to being with Jim again. I know many join me in agreement with this anticipation of being with our loved ones again. We continue to ask to see the big picture and the fine details. The big picture that this in not our permanent home and the fine details of knowing how to live fully in each day we have been given. Thankfully He guides our steps as a shepherd guides His sheep. Where You lead Lord, we will follow.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father we are grateful for Your tender care for us. We rest in Your Love and bring our loved ones before Your throne of grace. You know every heart and each persons motivation. We ask for divine encounters in Your Word and to clearly hear Your voice for ourselves and everyone in our circle.

For those who have been broadsided with hard circumstances we ask for Your wisdom and insight to know how to navigate these difficult circumstances. Would You give the words we need in season. For those who are battling illness would You be their strength and release healing to them. For those grieving losses of all kinds be their comfort dear Lord. We submit to You Lord and resist the evil one. Your promise is that when we follow this order, the enemy has to flee from us. We ask for those in transition that you will give them clear direction for their next season. We ask for Your light to expose darkness in all its forms. May we have clarity on how to identify and deal with the ways of the serpent.

Thank you for Your finished work on Calvary that draws the blood line of protection around all our loved ones. We give You praise Lord for Who You are and Your great love You pour on us so lavishly. We pray all this with grateful hearts Lord Jesus.

Amen

Blessings, Cheryl
