Greetings Life House Family,
Encouragement always comes through our turning our eyes on Jesus and seeing all He has done for us. When we look at our ministry season from September to end of May, we have so much to be grateful for. We continued to provide enrichment days. We had wonderful outreach Christmas banquet which our team did all the meal preparations for. It was so delicious. We had a number of family and friends attend and be introduced to Life House. We went through Genesis at bible study and learned a lot together about the yielded Life. We supported each other in prayer through many a crisis .We celebrated milestones with our families and friends .We participated in Why Encounter prayer drives and prayer rally. We had our first baptism which came out of one of our enrichment days. We had the privilege of having Crystal, Rhoda, Diana and Emily providing live worship for us We appreciate Holy Spirit leading us in Worship every study. We have seen The Lord minister to us deeply every bible study. We are so Grateful!!
A big thank You to our entire team for serving with such excellence and the lavish love of God. Thank you to our board for all they have sowed to make our season so fruitful. I have had the privilege of sharing the Word to the Young adults ministry at Riverwood. Also shared the word at two Sunday services at Crosspoint Church. It has been such a blessing to be apart of your lives and see the beauty of the Lord in each of you.
In this coming season we look forward to continuing to emphasize the finished work of Calvary in all we do. When Jesus declared “it is finished” He opened the way for us to come into fellowship with the Godhead and receive our new life In Christ.
The Greek word for “it is finished” is tetelestai. Our Lord’s last words on the cross. In a business context it means the debt of sin is fully paid. In a judicial context the judgement of sin has been fully served. We have been set free. In a military context the battle of sin has been won in the spiritual war. We need the revelation that we don’t have to pay anything by striving to prove we are worthy of the gift. We have been made worthy by the finished Work. Lord help us to be good “receivers”. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. We are no longer being judged for our past. May we see that we fight from a place of victory not fighting for the victory. We declare Tetelestai! It is finished to our old life in Jesus Name. We put off the old and embrace our newness of life in Christ Jesus. Our confidence is in You Lord.
Our quest is to come into more and more freedom as we receive all our inheritance that was bought for us at Calvary. We look forward to a restful summer. We will be sending out teachings throughout the summer to continue to bring you encouragement in the Word. May you have time to be refreshed . We will start back at Braeside on September the 9th at 7:15. We look forward to all The Lord will have for us in our fall season.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father we are so grateful for You and Your provision for us through Life House. We recognize it is a gift from your hand. We bring our Life House family and all connected relationships and we ask for your continued blessing and protection over all areas of our lives. We continue to ask for Your direction in all we do. We ask for healing for all those suffering with illness. For those needing relief from difficult circumstances, we ask that they will be brought through speedily. For those grieving loss, we ask for Your comfort to be so tangible. Lord would You provide fresh strength to accomplish what we a called to do. Keep us far from comparisons in all our relationships. May we continually be reminded that we complete each other and will not be drawn into an attitude of competition. May our time set aside with You be the highest priority and our deepest joy. Our ultimate goal is to live aware of Your Presence continually. We declare Lord, You are our hope and our future. We pray this with a heart of sincerity and gratitude. In Your precious Name Lord Jesus. Amen.
Love Cheryl
