Greetings Life House Family,
Hope this email has found you ready for the change in our weather. Winter has arrived. I was out doing errands today; it was a cold day. So grateful for being able to stay warm. This is a time when we turn to The Lord and ask Him to keep us in the warmth of His Love when so much around us is so concerning. The atrocities that have been unleashed in the world on innocent people is heartbreaking. The wars and rumors of wars are raging and we so need to be praying for those so affected by this darkness. We pray that many will turn their hearts to The Lord and find Him as their Peace.
I can’t imagine how difficult it is for those who don’t know the strength of His Love. It’s not easy trying to do life on their own. We are so blessed that we don’t have to have one minute without Him. We want everyone to receive the gift of Knowing Him. His Word is truly a lamp to guide us on the path He has for us. Thankfully we don’t take our lead from the world. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:9,10 “Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. We recognize many don’t want His Kingdom to come on the earth and are under the influence of the evil one who creates chaos.
We align our hearts to agree with this model prayer asking for His Will to be done in our lives and our loved ones lives. His will is full of Light. We can access His Light as we turn our hearts to Him. His light brings understanding to the situations we encounter. In this hour we sure need His light continually.
His Word reveals His character and His ways. “His divine power has given us everything for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” 2nd Peter:3. We recognize that everything we need is gained through Him. What a blessing we have in our relationship with Him. Only In Him can we be at rest and satisfied.
Let us pray together...
Heavenly Father we are so grateful to have this wonderful relationship with You. It takes precedent over everything else in our life. We seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness knowing all things will be added to us that we are in need of.
We ask for Your keeping power for us and our loved ones. Holy Spirit, would you keep us from fearing evil, for You are with us. We know that the systems of this world will falter and fail. Give us Your perspective so we can stand in the midst of trouble. You prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. May we feast at Your table and be filled.
We pray for all those who are struggling with fear and doubt. Strengthen their heart to believe You, as they see all You have done for them. We ask that they be reminded of Your Great love. We pray for those who are needing Your healing Lord. Whether it be physical or emotional. Direct us away from empty pursuits. May we be taken up with eternal purposes. Help us to keep our attention on today, not on yesterday or tomorrow. We know we can look into our future but not have our emphasis there, at the expense of living fully in each moment. We ask for clarity and energy to walk out the plans you have for each of us.
Thank You Holy Spirit for Your guidance. Thank You that You give us Your anointing to be all we are called to be in You. Thank You that all those who have graduated to heaven are in our hearts and we remember them lovingly always. The circle is not broken. Such a great comfort in knowing this.
We want to express to You Lord that we believe and agree with Your finished Work. We love You and are in such gratitude for being called into relationship with You. We honor our Godhead, Dear Father, Precious Jesus, Hallowed Holy Spirit. We pray in Your Name.. Amen
