ABOUT CHERYL
Cheryl McMillan is the Executive Director of The Life House ministry. Her strengths as a leader have grown out of the depths of her ongoing relationship with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and her experiences from decades of teaching God’s Word.
Cheryl’s study of, and knowledge and insight into the teachings of the Bible, are best described as deeply and profoundly gifted, cumulating out of many years of Bible study, prayer and spiritual leadership in many areas. Cheryl was involved with Women’s Aglow for over twenty years and during that time Cheryl had the benefit of attending national and international conferences yearly for extended training. She was trained in leadership skills, interpersonal relationships, financial planning and spiritual growth. She also had the privilege of being trained by many highly skilled Bible teachers during her time with Aglow.
In subsequent years, Cheryl became more involved in leadership in her church with serving on the Elders team for 10 years as well as leading the Women's Ministry for 20 years. Through these years the seeds of Life House began to take shape. This discipleship ministry had its’ beginnings in the home of Jim and Cheryl where many have been blessed by the strength of their relationship. Since Jim went home to be with the Lord in 2015, Cheryl has continued Jim’s legacy by ministering out of a deep place of knowing the Shalom of God.
Cheryl has said that her greatest privilege and training has been to be the wife of husband Jim, and a mom to three great sons. They have been immersed in the golf community as all her sons are golf professionals.
Cheryl said, “I am grateful for the wonderful marriage that Jim and I had and the many life lessons we learned together which is the basis for this ministry. I hope to continue to encourage others to grow in their faith and in their relationships.“
The desire of Cheryl and The Life House is for all to know and experience the deep and transforming love of the Father through Jesus Christ. To see others come to know God in a personal way; to know who they are in Him, and to find where they fit into God’s plan for their lives.
